Team Pyro’s Josh Files heads to Donington Park in search of podium finishes this weekend (20/21 April), as the Renault UK Clio Cup bursts back into action for Rounds 3 & 4 at the 1.96 mile Leicestershire circuit.

The driver, backed by Vocalink, heads to the world-renowned venue currently situated in sixth place in the championship standings, after failing to translate his pace into podiums at Brands Hatch three weeks ago.

Rested and rejuvenated, Files visits Donington Park this weekend in confident spirits after qualifying on the front row of the grid in Round 3 of Britain’s premier one-make saloon car championship just a year ago.

“Brands Hatch wasn’t a disaster, but I had hoped for a better start to my 2013 campaign,” said Files. “Donington Park wasn’t too kind to me last year but we were very quick there in qualifying and it’s a circuit I really enjoy.”

“My aim is to put together the complete package this weekend, and I think that two podium finishes to boost my position in the championship is very realistic.”

Renault UK Clio Cup qualifying will get underway on Saturday 20th April, at 11:20, followed by Round 3 at 17:05.

Round 4 of the competitive one-make championship will follow on Sunday 21st April, at 13:35, and will be broadcast live on ITV4 and ITV4 HD.
