SPA FRANCORCHAMPS IN BELGIUM HOSTS ROUND 3 OF TCR EUROPE

KCMG driver Josh Files is looking to keep up momentum heading in to round 3 of the TCR Europe championship after an impressive win last time out in Zandvoort. The HELL Energy backed driver currently sits 3rd in the drivers’ championship with team HELL Energy racing by KCMG leading the team challenge thanks to the efforts of Files and team mate Attila Tassi.

The famous Spa Francorchamps circuit situated in Belgium is home to some of the most legendary tarmac and has been part of the Formula 1 calendar for 51 seasons. The circuit will also be the longest track on the TCR Europe calendar at just over 7km.

“I’m absolutely buzzing for this one! We know we have a strong car but Spa will be a big learning experience for me, I’ve only been there once, which was over 5 years ago. It’s anybody’s guess what the weather will do which just adds to the excitement for us drivers and also the fans” Explained Files “

Last time in Zandvoort was really great, especially to get my first win of the season, something I’m hoping to do at every circuit from now on. The team, me, my sponsors and everyone affiliated with the project this year are pushing really hard, so I want to keep winning not just for me but also for everyone involved.” TCR Europe will once again piggyback the International GT Open, with 2 free practice sessions Friday, the 2-part qualifying and Race 1 Saturday and the final race Sunday.

Both races will again be live streamed and broadcast live on local TV networks.
